Former Fiji Citizens donate $152,000 to PM's relief fund

Former citizens of Fiji from America and Australia donated $152,000 to the Prime Ministers Relief Fund.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama received $150,000 from former Fiji Citizens in San Francisco Bay in the US.

Former Fiji Citizen in San Francisco Bay Jay Singh said around 100 former Fiji citizens got together for a charity dinner when they heard of the events of Cyclone Winston.

Singh said this is the first batch of assistance as they are doing more to raise funds.

Meanwhile, Former Fiji citizen Manchamma Webb and Vikash Chandra who now resides in Melbourne donated $2,000.
