The Brisbane Broncos have named former England centre Ben Te’o in their squad against the Manly Sea Eagles tomorrow night in a desperate move to get back onto their winning streak after losing two of their games after the resumption of the NRL season at the end of last month.
Te’o signed for the Broncos last Thursday.
The 33-year-old has spent the past six years in rugby union, making 16 Test appearances for England and playing two Tests for the British and Irish Lions.
Tomorrow’s match against the Sea Eagles will be Te'o's first NRL appearance since the 2014 grand final when he was part of South Sydney's premiership-winning team.
He is listed on the interchange.
The Broncos will take on the Sea Eagles at 9.50 pm tomorrow.
The Warriors will face the Cowboys at 8 pm Friday while the Eels will play the Panthers at 9.55 pm Friday.
The Rabbitohs will take on the Titans at 5 pm Saturday, the Knights will face the Storms at 7.30 pm and the Wests Tigers will play the Raiders at 9.35 pm Saturday.
