The former Assistant Treasurer of iTaukei Affairs Board has pleaded guilty to charges of corruption in the Labasa Magistrates Court.
FICAC charged Taniela Jerema with a count each of Obtaining a Financial Advantage and Causing a Loss.
It is alleged that Jerema received payments amounting to $9,280 and kept it for himself, instead of depositing it into the respective accounts from September 2016 to March 2017.
Magistrate, Bimsara Jagodage has given prosecution and defence time to file and serve their sentencing and mitigation submissions.
The case has been adjourned to the 10th of next month.
