A former Agricultural Technical Officer has admitted to committing an act of corruption in the Nausori Magistrates Court.
Siliva Senivasa was charged by FICAC last December with one count of General Dishonesty – Obtaining a Gain.
The accused pleaded guilty to the charge and admitted to misappropriating $450.00.
This money was received from a farmer as payment for his land preparation under the Land Preparation Facility Program.
The matter has been adjourned to 26th October to check on the mitigation submission.
