The Western Force have defied all odds and also made history in securing their place in the qualifying final in Super Rugby Australia after a dramatic 30-27 win over the Reds last night.

The Force got off to the worst possible start, with Tevita Kuridrani yellow-carded for an ugly tip-tackle on Hunter Paisami.

The Force regained their momentum scoring four tries with Jordan Olowofela scoring a hattrick while hooker Feleti Kaitu'u scored once.

Filipo Daugunu scored a try for the Reds but it was not enough to give them the win.

Other tries for the Reds came from Paisami and prop Taniela Tupou.

The Force will take on the Brumbies in the qualifying final next Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Rebels will face the Waratahs at 9.45 tonight.
