The Force will consider taking a train to Melbourne for tomorrow's Super Rugby clash with the Rebels if their flight to the Victorian capital is cancelled.

Volcanic ash has made its way into Australia's airspace and the Force's scheduled flight to Melbourne this morning is in danger of being postponed.

Force coach Richard Graham said that they are considering several contingency plans including catching a train to Adelaide and then flying to Melbourne or a direct train to Melbourne.

Graham added that the Force would not be happy if the game was called a draw.

The Rebels play Force at 9.40pm tomorrow in Melbourne.

Also tomorrow at 7.35pm Blues host Highlanders.
