The Ikale Tahi Tonga side has named its final 32-member squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup with some interesting inclusions and a surprise exclusion.
Star fullback and former Wallabies utility Israel Folau did not make the cut likely due to injury concerns.
Former Wallabies lock Adam Coleman is the new inclusion into the squad and former All Blacks George Moala has also been included as he is still likely to feature at the RWC in the final pool stages as it stands, although the TRFU will be appealing his ban later this week.
Tonga’s first RWC pool game is against Ireland at 7am on the 17th of next month.
