Focus shifts to Miss Fiji Pageant

Following a successful 2011 Vodafone Hibiscus Festival, focus will now be put on the Miss Fiji Pageant.

Hibiscus Event Group Secretary Aqela Cakobau said they are looking at holding the Pageant in October however no dates have been finalized yet.

Cakobau said they will be talking to the various municipalities and Organisers of the Sugar, Bula, Friendly North and Coral Coast Festivals to hold a two-day event and the winners from these festivals will be taking part in the Pageant.

Plans are underway to have 12 contestants for the 2011 Miss Fiji Pageant and the winner from this Festival will represent Fiji at the Miss South Pacific Festival.

The 2011 Miss South Pacific pageant will be held in the first week of December in Samoa.
