The Fiji Water Flying Fijians suffered a heavy 47-5 loss to the All Blacks in their final match of the July tests in San Diego this afternoon.

The All Blacks scored a total of 7 tries and 6 conversions while Fiji only managed to score 1 unconverted try in the match.

The All Blacks started the match strongly taking an early 14-0 lead through two converted tries from Caleb Clarke and Cortez Ratima before Fiji scored their only try of the match through Vilimoni Botitu to trail 14-5.

The All Blacks scored a further 2 tries and a conversion through Billy Proctor and Ardie Savea to lead Fiji 26-5 at halftime.

Sevu Reece, Ethan De Groot and George Bell further scored a converted try each to give the All Blacks the win.

Fiji showed a bit of flair in the game with their catch and passes but could not manage to finish it off due to some unforced handling errors.

The Flying Fijians will now return home and turn their focus on the Pacific Nations Cup next month.
