Fiji will now need to win their remaining two matches and get the maximum 10 points which will see Fiji finish the pool matches with 12 points.
Fiji will also need to hope that Uruguay creates another major upset at the World Cup and beat Wales.
Fiji plays Wales on the 9th of October and if Fiji beats Georgia with a bonus point then Fiji will enter the match against Wales with 7 points and Wales will enter with 9 points.
If Fiji gets the bonus point win against Wales and stops Wales from getting the two bonus points then Fiji will rely on Uruguay beating Wales.
Uruguay will face Wales on the 13th of October.
Australia needs to win its remaining two matches against Uruguay and Georgia to qualify for the knockout stages.
Fiji takes on Georgia at 5.15pm Thursday.
