The Flying Fijians' 36-member squad have started to march into camp in Nadi in preparation for the Pacific Nations Cup next month.
Fiji is the most successful team in the competition’s history, having claimed five PNC titles, including a four in a row between 2015 to 2018.
Coach Vern Cotter says the PNC is an excellent opportunity for players to challenge themselves in preparation for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.
He says it will also be a foundation for selecting players for the Northern Tour, where they will play Scotland, Ireland and the French Barbarians.
Fiji’s first training session will be today at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes.
Fiji’s first PNC match will be against Tonga at 3 pm next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
