The Fiji Water Flying Fijians 33-member squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup will be named tomorrow and head coach Simon Raiwalui will surely have a hard time trying to trim down his squad after what the players have shown in the previous Punjas Pacific Battle Series.
With the depth of talent currently in the team, Raiwalui and his team of selectors will be working around the clock to finalise the squad.
Also with the inclusion of more Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players into the squad, it has really lifted the performance of the National side this season.
Players like Selestino Ravutaumada, Kalaveti Ravouvou, Iosefo Masi, Tevita Ikanivere and Caleb Muntz to name a few, are some of the Fijian Drua players that have proved themselves and would be expected to make the final squad.
Raiwalui earlier said that the Flying Fijians team is made up of players who plays in rugby clubs around the globe and it was logistically difficult to get players into camp on short notice but they have managed to get through the first phase.
The team will be named at 3pm tomorrow at the Tanoa International Hotel, Nadi.
