A flood warning remains in place for the low lying areas of Rakiraki located along the Rakiraki River.

The warning is also in force for Rakiraki Town.

People are requested to take necessary precautions as some parts of Rakiraki are still affected by flood waters.

A flood alert remains in force for Wailotua station and areas near the Wanibuka River.

A heavy rain warning remains in force for Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Yasawa and Mamanuca groups.

Localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.

The tropical depression located west of Nadi is now upgraded to a category 2 Tropical Cyclone.

Tropical Cyclone Winston is near Vanuatu and we will only feel the indirect effects of the system.

This will bring associated rain and winds.
