A flood warning is now in force for the low lying areas downstream of Vatukacevaceva to Rakiraki Town.
There is also a flood alert now in force for all low lying areas and small streams for the whole of Fiji.
A trough of low pressure to the west of Fiji has now re-intensified and is gradually moving eastwards towards the group.
This is means associated cloud and rain is expected in the next few days.
A heavy rain alert also remains in force for the whole of Fiji.
Those living in Viti Levu should expect showers to increase to rain with squally thunderstorms from this afternoon.
For the rest of Fiji, expect occasional rain that could be heavy at times.
