A flood alert is now in force for low lying areas, small streams and flood prone areas within Sigatoka, Tuva, Nadi, Vitogo, Ba and Nasivi River.
The Nadi Weather Office says this is due to an active trough of low pressure lying over the group.
Associated cloud and rain is expected to affect the group till the weekend.
Expect flooding of roads, Irish crossings and bridges in low lying areas.
A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of the Fiji Group.
