Flash flood warning for low lying areas in Vanua Levu

Please remain on high alert if you live in a low lying area in Vanua Levu.

The Weather Office says there is still a flash flood warning for all low lying and flood-prone areas in Vanua Levu.

There has been significant rainfall in the last 24 hours in Vanua Levu especially in Labasa, Seaqaqa and Nayarabale.

All of this rain is being brought by an active trough of low pressure still affecting the Fiji group.

Please do not attempt to cross flooded waters of unknown depth.
