A flash flood warning is now in force for low lying areas and flood prone areas within Rakiraki and Ba catchment while a flash flood alert is now in force for flood prone areas, small streams and low lying areas for the rest of the Western Division.
Tropical Cyclone Kevin has been downgraded into a category 4 system and was located about 730 kilometres South of Nadi and 600 kilometres South of Kadavu at about 8am today and it is not expected to track directly over Fiji.

A gale warning remains in force for Conway Reef which is located 460 kilometres Southwest of Kadavu and open waters of far Southwest Viti Levu, far Southern Koro Sea and far Southern Lau waters.
Expect damaging gale force winds up to about 74 kilometres per hour with gusts to 100 kilometres per hour.
They say expect winds to ease and become strong and rough to very rough seas from later today.
