First iTaukei owned hotel opens in Coral Coast

The first iTaukei owned hotel, the Namolevu Beach Bure Accommodation within the Coral Coast vicinity has been opened, along the Queens Road.

The opening of Namolevu Beach Bure Accommodation has provided employment opportunities for 12 Fijians who will undergo training in the near future.

While opening Namolevu Beach Bure Accommodation, Minister for Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya congratulated the Tokatoka Hewa and acknowledged the milestone achieved by Tagaqe village and the province of Nadroga/Navosa.

With the assistance of the Fiji Development Bank under the Government’s Business Development Initiative Programme, they were able to renovate and refurbish 8 bures at a total of $450,000.
