First gold medal goes to Lekutu Secondary School

The first gold medal of the 2015 Coca Cola Games went to the Northern division as Vika Tuilomana of Lekutu Secondary School won gold in the 1,500 metres Open Girls Event.

Losala Turaga of Jasper Williams High School took the silver while Silivia Vusevuse of Kadavu Provincial Secondary grabbed the bronze title.

Lekutu Secondary School’s Vika Tuilomana told Fijivillage that when she got up this morning she said to herself that the first Coke Games gold medal will go to Lekutu in Bua. 

Tuilomana who comes from a family of nine said she trains for 20 minutes every morning and evening.
