The first-ever Fiji Bitter Dranikula 7s will be held in November in Galoa, Serua.

Dranikula 7s President Mitieli Savu says the village wanted to organize a 7s Tournament this year for the development of the village, but the idea was put on hold as they struggled through COVID-19 and its restrictions.

He says they are fortunate to have Fiji Bitter as the sponsor.

There will be 32 rugby teams competing for $1,500 while 12 netball teams, 8 mixed netball and 8 mixed volleyball teams will also be part of the tournament.

Rugby entry fee is $250 and $80 for netball/volleyball.

The funds raised from the event will be directed towards women’s projects in the village.
