The first batch of Team Fiji for the 2024 Paris Olympics was today farewelled alongside officials from the Oceania National Olympic Committees (ONOC) by the Divonne-les-Bains City and volunteers as they will head into the Olympics Games Village tomorrow.
The first batch of Team Fiji was led by the team’s Chef de Mission Sale Sorovaki.
The team, alongside Oceania athletes and officials, explored the Olympic museum in Lausanne yesterday.
The event was organised by the ONOC team.
The second batch of Team Fiji, which includes the Fiji Men’s 7s side will be heading into the Games Village early next week.
The Paris Olympics will kick off with the football and the rugby 7s competition next Thursday.
