Firefighters have managed to control the fire that had quickly spread at the Paradise Beverages administration building in Walu Bay this afternoon.
Three fire trucks were dispatched to attend to the fire that had engulfed the building.
Police were also present and assisted to direct tow trucks that removed vehicles that were parked in front of the administration building.
Paradise Beverages General Manager Mike Spencer told Fijivillage that all the 130 staff were evacuated within 5 minutes.
Spencer says that they will now await the result of the investigation by the National Fire Authority.
He says that they do not believe that there has been any impact on their packaging or warehouse.
Spencer says work will resume for all staff once NFA complete their assessments.
Meanwhile, Police have confirmed that they are redirecting traffic from the Walu Bay and Reservoir Road roundabouts as efforts to fully contain the fire at Pacific Beverages Administration Building in Walu Bay are nearly complete.
