The National Fire Authority is investigating to determine the cause of the fire which destroyed Ply Fiji Limited factory in Korovou this morning.
NFA says the fire had escalated quickly and engulfed the factory’s kilns, processing workshop, administration office and two vehicles which were parked nearby.
The fire team managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the drying and peeling sections which were located at the back of the factory’s processing section.
