Fire at Naboro Prison compound has been contained

A fire that started earlier this afternoon at the Naboro Prison Compound has been contained.

An eye-witness says the fire started around 12.45pm.

She says fire started in one of the quarters and spread to two other quarters.

Families were evacuated with the assistance of Naboro inmates and officers.
