Wallabies scrum-half with Fijian links Issak Fines-Leleiwasa is back in training with the Western Force as they prepare for the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific 2024 season.
Fines-Leleiwasa bolted into World Cup calculations after an excellent 2023 Super Rugby Pacific campaign, making his international debut against France prior to the tournament in late August.
He says he is feeling refreshed after his World Cup break and is ready to build on his exciting trajectory from 2023 adding he just wants to keep working hard on that and keep building.
The 28-year-old says it is the start of a new year and he is excited.
Fines-Leleiwasa adds competing for spots in a professional environment, not only makes yourself better but the team as a whole and that is what they are striving for.
This is because he will be competing with Wallaby scrum-half Nic White for a position in the starting lineup.
The Force will be opening their campaign against the Hurricanes in Perth on February 24th.
