No team in New Zealand knows more than the Crusaders about preparing for finals rugby, and that institutional knowledge will have them ready for the fast-finishing Chiefs in Saturday's Super Rugby Aotearoa final in Christchurch.
They are aiming for a fifth straight title.
Good news for them came with centre Braydon Ennor coming through his second game for University on Saturday, where he had looked dynamic. That is especially valuable given the season-ending injury suffered by All Blacks midfield partner Jack Goodhue.
The Chiefs on the other hand are aiming for their first title in eight years.
In a stunning turnaround off the back of a record-equalling 11-game losing streak, the Chiefs have been hot property in stringing five thrilling wins together to secure their place in the Christchurch finale.
The Crusaders face the Chiefs at 7.05pm Saturday.
