The film industry is still emerging in Fiji however the graduating students have skills that allow them to work them in other fields.
Fiji National University Unistudio Director Ravi Malik said that film-making students may also work in advertising production houses, the audio visual field as well as Television stations.
Malik said the International films shot here also allow the students to earn money as well as expand their skills.
For the Bollywood movie Table 21 students were hired as part of the cast as well as assistant camera men, and were paid on a contract basis.
Meanwhile, 24 films made by student film makers of the Fiji National University will be shown as part of the Fiji Film Festival which begins today.
