Fijians to have opportunity to apply for army and navy academy in America

For the first time ever, Fijians will have an opportunity to apply and be part of the Army Academy and Navy Academy in America.

This was highlighted by the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Patrick Murphy.

Murphy says these graduates will return to their Armed Forces in their home counties and become leaders and be equipped with the best knowledge and experience.

He says this opportunity is open to America’s international partners who qualify.

Murphy is in the country and has met with senior government officials discussing regional security, economic development and environmental resilience.
