The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side concluded their first day of the Fiji Airways Mini International 7s leg 2 campaign with a 22-7 win over the Aussie Gold Women's side at Churchill Park this afternoon.

The Fijiana took advantage of the Australian side's mistakes and converted it into points scoring 3 tries one of which was converted to lead 17-0 at the break.

The Aussie Gold regrouped well in the second half to apply pressure on the Fijiana defence but the hosts were too strong as they denied them a chance to score any points.

Fiji utilised their possession well and turned them into points scoring an unconverted try with 90 seconds remaining to extend their lead to 22-0.

Aussie Gold replied with a run away try at the stroke of fulltime for the final score.

France is currently playing USA.
