With the Women’s Rugby World Cup coming up next year in Scotland, consistency is one of the areas that the Vodafone Fijiana XVs side will be looking to improve on in their next test matches lined up for them this year.
While speaking after their heavy 59-15 loss to the Scotland Women, coach Mosese Rauluni says it is all about playing smarter and their kickers kicking better.
Rauluni also highlighted that decision-making by the halfbacks and flyhalves will be a big thing that they will need to work on.
He says Scotland’s halves pair controlled their game plan really well and their defensive line was accurate as well forcing the Fijiana to make mistakes which they capitalised on and scored points.
Rauluni says he feels that if Fiji moves up, they have got to be better than what they were against Scotland.
The Fijiana XVs will take on the Netherlands in their second test match at 5.30am this Friday in the Netherlands.
They will later head to Dubai for the WXV3 tournament.
