The Vodafone Fijiana XVs side are heading into tonight’s second test match against Japan looking to redeem themselves after losing the first match in Suva last Friday.
Captain Merewai Cumu says the players are 100 percent focused on the task ahead tonight and they have worked on the areas that proved them costly last week.
Cumu says one of the areas they lacked last week was their discipline and also their attacks where they had a lot of handling errors and they will look to polish that up this week.
Coach Mosese Rauluni says the players are now a lot more switched on than they were in Suva last week and he believes they will put on a much better performance tonight.
He says every game is critical so not only do they have to win games but also build combinations as they prepare for the Women’s Rugby World Cup in England next year.
The team will include one new player in Josivini Tuikilakila who will be making a potential debut off the bench. Fijiana will take on Japan at 6 this evening at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
Entry fees to the game are free of charge.
