A major renovation project at 442 rooms Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Spa has been deferred pending a review of design options.
The resort was to undertake the renovation which would include almost half of the resort involving guest rooms and upgrading of restaurants.
Communications Manager for the resort Lata Yaqona said they are unable to confirm a definite time line but the resort remains fully operational.
She said they continue to consult closely with the community and all relevant stakeholders on any proposed projects that may affect them.
