Fijian Drua Men remain at 7th place after round 9 of Super Rugby Pacific

After 9 rounds of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Competition, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua still maintain its spot in 7th place despite their 38-15 loss to the Hurricanes on Friday night in Suva.

The Drua will now need to produce positive results in the next few games ahead of them if they are to secure a place in the knockout stages this season.

The Hurricanes remain at the top of the table with 37 points, the Blues are in second place with 32 points and the Brumbies are third with 27 points.

Defending champions, the Crusaders have hit rock bottom of the table after falling to yet another defeat and this time, against the Western Force losing 37-15.

The Drua will take on Moana Pasifika at 2.05pm Saturday in Lautoka in round 10 of the competition.

In other matches this week, the Crusaders will host the Rebels at 7.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will play the Chiefs at 9.35pm Friday, the Brumbies will take on the Hurricanes at 4.35pm Saturday, the Highlanders will play the Force at 7.05pm Saturday and the Reds will take on the Blues at 9.35pm Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women will take on the Waratahs in the final of the Super Rugby Women’s Competition at 4pm this Sunday in Brisbane.
