The FijiFirst Party states that it will continue with its stand to strongly oppose racial discrimination if it forms the next government after the September 17th general elections.

Speaking to more than a thousand people during the party rally in Lautoka, FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama said that racial discrimination is one of the major issues that have hindered development over the previous years.

Bainimarama revealed that racial discrimination was one of the main causes of the shooting that took place in the Army camp in 2000 which claimed the lives of some members of the military.

While speaking, Bainimarama also stressed that people should be aware of the lies being spread by politicians from other political parties.

Bainimarama confirms that the FijiFirst is committed to continue with the current policies and will implement the new initiatives announced in the party manifesto.
