Fiji women's team wins gold at the first ever 3x3 Basketball event at the Pacific Games

The Fiji Women’s Basketball 3x3 team has created history as it won gold at the first ever 3x3 Basketball event at the Pacific Games.

The team beat Cook Islands 20‑9.

Tahiti earlier took bronze.

However, the Fiji Men’s team could not repeat the feat, and lost 20‑18 to Guam.

Men's bronze earlier went to hosts Samoa.
