The Fiji women's basketball team kept to their winning ways with a convincing 76-34 win over Solomon Islands on day two of the FIBA Melanesian Games.
They led 35-20 at half-time and their powerful defence kept the opposition from scoring.
In the other women's game today Papua New Guinea edged New Caledonia 67-66 to keep their slate clean with two wins.
Fiji and PNG are the only two teams unbeaten in the women's division.
The Fiji men's basketball team kept their hopes alive of reaching the finals, after defeating Solomon Islands 66-57 in their second game.
In the other men's game PNG beat New Caledonia 75-66.
All the men's teams have now lost one game each which means it will all go down to points differential heading into the final two days of competition.
The Fiji men's and women's teams will face off against Papua New Guinea tomorrow with the women taking the court at 5pm and the men at 7.30pm.
