The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team have secured their spot in the cup final of the Vancouver 7s after thrashing Samoa 45-5 in the first semi final.
They will face Argentina at 12.58pm in the final.
Samoa was shut out in the game as Fiji pinned them back inside their half and starved them of possession.
Fiji scored 7 tries with Josua Vakurunabili and Vui-vi-awa Naduvalo getting two tries each in the first half.
Other try scorers included Kaminieli Rasaku, Tira Patterson and Pilipo Bukayaro.
Waisea Nacuqu was a notable omission from the Fiji team.
Naduvalo's two tries makes it six tries in total for him at the Vancouver 7s.
Argentina beat Australia 24-12 in the second semi-final.
Earlier today, Fiji beat France 24-21 in their quarter final.
In other quarter-finals, Samoa beat defending champions South Africa 28-17, Argentina thrashed England 40-17 while Australia came from behind to beat New Zealand 19-12.
