Sports World Fiji under 20 rugby team was no match for the South African team as they were thrashed 57-7 in their pool C,opening match at the World Ruby Under 20 Championship in Cape Town.
The South African side were too strong for the Fiji team, and they have sent a strong message to other teams coming to compete in the Championship.
Centre Jurenzo Julius scored two of South Africa’s eight tries as the tournament hosts out muscled Fiji in a physical match.
Fiji’s only points came from loosehead Anare Caginavanua as he dashed through the South African defense to score Fiji’s only try.
Fiji will face England in their next game on the 5th of July at 2.30am.
