The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side will once again face giant killers Uruguay, who defeated them and New Zealand in the Perth 7s pool games last weekend in Australia, in the upcoming Vancouver 7s pool games next month.
Fiji is also pooled with Spain and the USA.
Fiji is currently leading the 2025 HSBC SVNS Series with 48 points, and they will want to maintain their standing and improve from their last performance.
They finished in 5th position in Perth and will hope to improve their game management and discipline heading into Vancouver.
Meanwhile, the Kenyan men’s rugby sevens team has been drawn in Pool A with Argentina, France, and Great Britain.
In Pool B, Australia leads the group alongside South Africa, New Zealand, and Ireland.
In the women’s division, Australia will head Pool A, with Canada, Brazil, and Spain, while Pool B sees New Zealand alongside the USA, China, and Ireland.
Fijiana, France, Japan, and Great Britain make up Pool C.
The Vancouver 7s will be held from the 21st to the 23rd of February.
