Fiji to celebrate Constitution Day with a special event at Albert Park

Fiji will celebrate Constitution Day with a special event at Albert Park during the special Constitution Day public holiday this Wednesday.

The government is calling on people to join in the celebration of the document that will forever define people’s rights as Fijians has established the foundation of our modern democracy.

There will be a march from the Suva Flea Market to Albert Park at 10am this Wednesday.

President Jioji Konrote and Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will attend the Constitution Day celebrations.

The celebrations at Albert Park end at about 2pm Wednesday.

Every Fijian is invited to the celebration.
