The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side is through to the Los Angeles 7s cup quarter-finals after defeating Australia 15-12 in their final pool match this afternoon.
Fiji’s Anasa Qaranivalu scored the first try, however, Australia replied with tries to Maurice Longbottom and Nathan Lawson to give them a 12-5 lead at the break.
Jeremaia Matana closed the gap to two points after his try in the 10th minute of the game, while Pilipo Bukayaro sealed their victory, crossing over the try line in the final seconds.

Fiji will likely meet Uruguay or South Africa in the cup quarter-finals that start at 6.23 am tomorrow.
In other results, Ireland thrashed Canada 22-7, Uruguay beat South Africa 10-5, Argentina beat Spain 19-7, Great Britain beat France 21-14, USA edged Chile 20-17, and Japan beat Kenya 7-5.
The cup semi-finals will start at 10.14am tomorrow, and the cup final will be at 1.28pm tomorrow.
