The Vodafone Fiji Under-20 rugby side was thrashed 74-5 by New Zealand in their opening match of the Oceania Under 20 Championship last night.
Fiji’s lone try was scored by Jope Naseara.
New Zealand scored 11 tries in the match.
According to allblacks.com, Fiji suffered a calamity, multiple catches calling for the ball and none taking ownership from the first whistle.
Fiji will now play Australia on Tuesday and Argentina next Sunday.
