The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team has beaten the All Blacks 7s team 21-19 in the Oceania 7s.
Sireli Maqala continued his impressive form with two tries while Iosefo Masi scored the other try for Fiji.
Maqala has now scored four tries in the tournament so far.
Fiji led 21-7 at one point however New Zealand scored two quick tries to close the gap.
New Zealand had the chance to win the match after the hooter but playmaker, Vilimoni Koroi missed his penalty attempt from right in front.
Fiji will now play Australia at 9.30 tonight.
They will take on the Oceania 7s team at 2.30pm tomorrow and New Zealand at 8.07pm.
There are six rounds of matches in the Oceania 7s where each team will play each other twice.
The highest-ranked team after six matches will be declared the winner.
