Both teams battled for possession in the first half, however, the match went into halftime with Fiji in the lead 7-0.
USA put on a stunning comeback in the second half, with Joe Schroeder scoring first, followed by David Still, who was extremely physical with his tackles, adding his name to the points tally.
Sloppy ball handling and poor support play resulted in Fiji failing to capitalize on opportunities they had to score.
