Fiji’s Ambassador to Singapore Seremaia Tui Cavuilati stressed this while speaking at the launch of Fiji Airways inaugural flight to Singapore at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore last night.
Cavuilati told over 100 guests from Singapore, aviation partners and travel agents that Fiji is home to some of the best seafood in the world.
He said Fiji has some of the highest quality of fruit and agricultural produce which are hand grown and hand harvested.
The CEO of Changi Airport Group Lee Seow Hiang said with this new service by Fiji Airways to Singapore, they are hopeful that Fiji’s connectivity to Singapore, South-East Asia, South Asia and Europe will get stronger.
Fiji Airways will provide two weekly direct flights to Singapore.
The flights will operate from Nadi on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The flight times will suit onward connections to India and South East Asia.
Changi Airport in Singapore is served by 100 airlines connecting 300 cities in 80 countries and territories, making it one of the most important air transport hubs in the world.
