A die-hard Fiji 7s fan bought an iPhone 11 Pro for each member of the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team that played in the Vancouver 7s.
Rajneel Prasad spent $US15,000 to surprise the players who he has developed a common bond with this season especially Jerry Tuwai.
An iPhone 11 Pro costs $US999 and Prasad bought 15.
Prasad who has been living in the United States of America for 19 years says as a passionate Fiji 7s team fan he has always wanted to help the players and make them happy because he knows about their struggles.
He grew up in Koroqaqa in Nausori.
Speaking from Monterey in California, Prasad says he tries his best to watch every tournament in the HSBC World 7s Series.
He says this season he went to watch the Dubai and Cape Town 7s tournaments but missed out on the Hamilton and Sydney 7s.
Prasad says they were happy to be able to go as family to watch the Los Angeles and Vancouver 7s tournaments.
He says they have been travelling and watching tournaments in the World 7s Series since 2013.
Prasad also talked about the bond he shares with Fiji 7s team halfback Jerry Tuwai.
He even shared that his 2-year-old son is called Baby Jerry.
Prasad says they will be watching the London and Paris 7s tournaments in May.
They are also planning to go to the Olympic Games.
