The Fiji Water Flying Fijians had a lot of talent, speed and power right from the forwards to the backline and Fiji has a great chance of creating upsets again at the upcoming Rugby World Cup in France.
These were the words of former All Blacks utility and current Tongan fullback Charles Piutau after their 36-20 loss to the Flying Fijians yesterday.
Piutau says the Flying Fijians took advantage of their chances and capitalized on their mistakes.
He further says they were really strong with their set pieces and came out firing in the game which had them scoring three early tries.
The Tongan fullback says yesterday’s game was physical and lived up to the expectations of the crowd especially when two Pacific teams meet.
The Flying Fijians will play Samoa in Apia in the second round next weekend while Tonga will meet Japan.
