We have a chance to follow the footsteps of some of the Fiji legends that have gone before us.
This has been highlighted by Fiji Airways Men’s 7s Coach Osea Kolinisau as the team eyes the Hong Kong 7s title after qualifying for the semi final against France this evening.
Fiji is comfortably the most successful men’s team in the tournament’s 49-year history.
Add on the fact that in Joji Nasova, they boast this season’s leading men’s try scorer, Kolinisau has a reason to be hopeful.
Kolinisau says at the start of the season, their aim was to win the series and it is still their goal.
He says he told the players that they are building but he wanted to win the series.
The coach says they have a good opportunity to strike at Hong Kong and Singapore and it means a lot to them.
Fiji takes on France in the second semi final at 6.23 this evening.
In the first semi final, Australia faces Argentina at 6pm.
The cup final will kick off at 11.46 tonight.
