The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team has defeated Wales 28-14 in their first pool match of the Cape Town 7s.
Drua winger Eroni Sau was in good form as he scored two tries while Kalione Nasoko and Jasa Veremalua both scored a try each.
Fiji led 28-0 at halftime.
Errors in the second half saw the Welsh side scoring two tries.
Fiji will take on Canada in their second pool match at 12:58am while they meet Samoa at 4:19 tomorrow morning.
