The Fiji Airways Men’s national 7s team has won its first game at the Las Vegas 7s after they beat Scotland 36-12 in their first game of the Las Vegas 7s.
Waisea Nacuqu scored Fiji’s first try in the 2nd minute of the match as Fiji led 5-0.
Vilimoni Botitu got Fiji’s second try after some good link-up play with Aminiasi Tuimaba as Fiji extended their lead to 10-0.
Max McFarland got Scotland’s first try as they closed the gap to 10-7.

Nacuqu got his second try just before half-time as the national side took a 17-7 half-time lead.

Jerry Tuwai showed his trademark stepping skills as he set up Terio Tamani for Fiji’s fourth try as Fiji led 24-7 in the second half.
Vilimoni Botitu was sin binned for a dangerous tackle.
Botitu redeemed himself when he got back on the field as he scored Fiji’s fifth try.
Terio Tamani scored Fiji’s last try.
Fiji will now face Wales at 2.23pm today and Fiji will then face Australia at 7.52am tomorrow.
The Cup quarterfinals will start at 1.46pm tomorrow, semifinals will start at 9.12am Monday and the Cup final will kick off at 12.30pm Monday.
